 Rowynn Dumont is an artist, curator, and writer, based in New York. Co-founder of Black Rainbow (NY). She is an arts contributor for SuperRare & COOPH Magazine (Austria) and host of the GUCCI / SuperRare Podcast “The Next 100 Years of Gucci.” 
Rowynn holds a double Masters and a BFA in Studies of Taboo Religions & Sexuality in Art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work can be seen internationally in Nimbus at Vespertine (Shanghai) and The Fowler Museum (Los Angeles). She has lectured at CAA (DTLA), the Paris School of Art, and The Sexology Institute (San Antonio).

Residing at 86 Orchard Street off of Broome, Casa Mezcal has come full circle by offering inventive Mexican Cuisine and creative selections of Mezcal and libations.
As a restaurant, they offer a community that fosters the growth of the Lower East Side in NYC.

Their Venue is a home of quality, it is a place to explore, love, and grow the arts.

A table used for eating alone is one that collects dust.

Casa Mezcal has opened its doors to Artists, Music, Comedians, and all of those who have an Artistic presence.

In addition to the restaurant on the main floor and the 86 Orchard Street Gallery space on the second floor, Casa Mezcal offers an exciting speakeasy setting on their lower level.

One that continues to grow the spirit of the free thinker, the radical mind, and the superior drink.

In a world of everlasting beauty, 

where even the dying breath of a flower is considered splendid and full of life. 

We are also reminded that within the Darkness 

there is a world rich with pleasure, love, and acceptance. 

Misguided, we are conditioned to not peer through the bramble, to walk past the foundations and structure of life to instead relish in its adornments.

It is those who are willing to look for love where others dare not venture,

 that find the true treasures of authenticity, conviction, and truth.

This is where our Art Gallery is built.

Catered to a point of singularity.
